Victorian Branch Meetings
The MHSA Victoria Branch meets each month on the fourth Thursday at the Oakleigh-Carnegie RSL in Oakleigh,
at 20:00 hours (8.00pm) and are usually concluded by 22:00 hours (10.00pm).

Dinner can be availed of at the Club’s Bistro  before the meetings and refreshments are available throughout. 

Guests are always welcome.

There is also trading of collectable books and memorabilia at each meeting.

Excursions are also planned to sites of military history relevance in Melbourne and Victoria.

The schedule for the Branch in 2012 is as follows:
25th January   note: Wednesday night not the usual Thursday  Colonial and British soldiers:
                                     'Show and tell' for members with ancestors or otherwise for the pre-Federation period.

23rd February        Veteran Guest Speaker - Maurice Blackwell, Korea veteran and Lieutenant-Colonel Neil Smith AM.


22nd March           Member Speakers George Ward & Bill Black : The 70th anniversary of the fall of Singapore.


26th April               Guest Speaker :  Kim Fawkes  -   Australian built RAAF Beauforts and the cause of the high number of crashes 


24th May                  MHSA Member Speaker - Paul Roos:  SADF - The Bush War Campaign



3 June                     Special Guest Speaker from Varlet Farm, Poelkapelle, Belgium : Charlotte Descamps
