January 27                Members' Own - "My Family Hero" - members can speak of anyone in their family who may have served
                                    tell their story, show their memorabilia.
                                An interesting and relaxed way to bring in 2011

February 24            Boer War night.  A South African battlefield historian, Garth Benneyworth, will present on the battle
                                 in which Colonel Umphelby, Victoria's Commander of Artillery, was mortally wounded and became
                                Australia's most senior casualty of the Boer war.
                               A joint night with our affiliate Anglo-Boer War Study Group.

March 24               Double member presentation:

                             Z Special Force - Lt Col Neil Smith, AM

April 28                 Veteran's Night. 
                             Two Vietnam veteran 'tunnel rats' will give short but powerful insights into their war -
                                US Sgt Ron Gates will tell of his role as a tunnel rat in CuChi province
                                and our own Allan Rantall will finish with his model of the tunnel systems that he 'worked' in that conflict.
